Martin Harris Centre joins Music for the Senses art trail
A city-wide celebration of the people, places, moments and instruments of ManchesterÓñÃ×ÊÓÆµ™s music scene.
This summer, the Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama is taking part in Music for The Senses ÓñÃ×ÊÓÆµ“ a brand new art trail for a musical city.
The trail will feature artworks, exhibitions and installations that celebrate the people, places, moments and instruments of ManchesterÓñÃ×ÊÓÆµ™s music scene. It runs from Monday 7 July ÓñÃ×ÊÓÆµ“ Sunday 31 August.
WeÓñÃ×ÊÓÆµ™ll be celebrating two of The University of ManchesterÓñÃ×ÊÓÆµ™s most famous alumni ÓñÃ×ÊÓÆµ“ Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands, also known as The Chemical Brothers. The dance music duo met while studying history in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and went on to achieve massive chart success with six No. 1 albums and two No.1 singles in the UK.
